Put it on your calenders. May 1, 2005 Florida West Coast Avian Society is having their annual Bird Fair at Robarts Arena, Sarasota Fl.

Big Big Big Grand Raffle featuring a stainless steel cage. Please note we no longer offer parrots as our grand prize like many clubs do.

I am working on a special guest to be announced soon who will be doing a book signing.

Wished I lived closer. We had one scheduled in Pensacola until Hurricane Ivan decided otherwise!

I have noticed a lot of Floridians on this board and was wondering if anyone knew of any shows going on the week of March 5-7 in the West Melbourne to Orlando area...My sister lives in West Melbourne and I will be visiting her there that week, we are both bird lovers and I thought it would be a nice activity for us to do while I was there! Or if anyone knows a site where I could find that info, that would be greatly appreciated as well! Thanks!

I know. It has not been a good summer for bird fairs. Even those that went on did not have great attendence. Hoping for a better 2005 for all of us.

What a coincidence! Our local Brisbane bird show, the Queensland State Bird Fair is on the same day, Sunday May 1. What synchronicity between the Sunshine states of USA and Australia! We'll have to compare notes!
