Talking Bird Fair in Atlanta!!!!

Hey folks, in two weeks on the 10th and 11th of May there is an Exotic Bird fair in Atlanta, go to birdfairs.net for more info.

I wonder if it is ok to bring my conure Stimpy along.........LMB

Please don't do that. There are TOO many things your bird can pick up at a fair. All those other birds, breeders, and other people have been in touch with their birds, and you NEVER know what they are carrying, remember if a bird is sick you can't tell. If you want your bird to stay health then don't ever get them around birds or bird people, that you don't know.

Hello -we are almost neighbors I live in Gainesville.
I volunteer at the largest parrot rescue in the USA .
It is located close to Augusta. We now house approx 1207
parrots of about 30different species.



Memorial weekend Sat and Sun we are having a big benefit, come on out and meet everyone !

I go through Gainsville everyday, in fact I did Pipefitting work on the new North East Georgia medical center add on just recently! I live down in Comer!!!! I just might be able to help out with the bird rescue efforts in the future!.......LMB

I agree 100% and if you buy ANYTHING disinfect the crap out of it before you give it to your FID. You should even take a shower and change your clothes before doing anything with your bird. You just can't be to cautious when it comes to a possible deadly illness being brought home..

hi i saw that you volunteered at a parrot rescue, im actually in nc but no rescues around here that iv seen have RS eclectus so i was wondering if you guys had any there that were still pretty young?
