Bird Expo in AL?

How do I find out if there are any upcoming bird expos in Alabama? I've tried to look on the internet but I'm not having much luck. I hear all of you talking about the wonderful deals you find at the expos and I want to check them out. I've never been before!

I have seen one that has occured in Mobile, but I found out about it via billboard and I was a weekend too late. I wish I could be more help! I think the one that I found out about might be yearly, but being military, I haven't been in the area long enough to know if that statement is true or not.

They usually have them posted in the back of Birdtalk magazine. You could also call or email any local breeders to see if they know of any coming up. I know that our area (South Louisiana-40 minutes south of New Orleans) has been seriously lacking in bird shows since Hurricanes Katrina and Gustav. That's another reason I started making my own toys and found websites with great prices on bulk food. I miss seeing all the different types of birds, but it definitely helps with the MBS (multiple bird syndrome) problems I was having
