FRIDAY, JULY 17, 2009

Please join us and all of the Symposium’s speakers at a fundraising dinner for Animal Education Foundation the night before the Symposium, and welcome our keynote speaker, Steve Milpacher from the World Parrot Trust. Steve will provide an overview of the World Parrot Trust’s conservation and welfare projects and discuss the challenges that lie ahead. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet and talk with our expert guests in a private setting!

Space for this event is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. A portion of the dinner registration will be considered a donation and may be tax-deductible in accordance with IRS rules for 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organizations.

Using the most positive, least intrusive strategies disseminated at this workshop, participants will be better able to effectively analyze, prevent and resolve behavior problems that inevitably arise. Animal Education Foundation (AEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer, organization dedicated to making a positive difference for companion parrots and other animals. Sorry, no birds will be at this event. But the information that will be presented will be invaluable to you and your companions.

Recently, both days were approved for continuing education credits. The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) has awarded 6.5 credits (13 total) for each day. And, The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) has awarded 6 credits (12 total) for each day.
