Kelly, what makes you think that Olive Oil is no good for birds? I use it all the time and scramble eggs in it also. It is very healthy for people and birds.

Black Olives found in the store are soaked in salt. This has nothing to do with olive oil. Foods fried in any oil are not real good for fids but you can cooked and scramble eggs in the microwave with nothing in a ceramic dish.
