Does anyone have a home made recipe for "Bean Cuisine"?

I am a first time bird owner, and the wonderful lady that sold me the bird told me to feed her some Bean Cuisine because of the good nutrition... well I prefer to make the mix home made instead of purchasing.
Does anyone have a bean cuisine recipe?

Imake a mix withdriedbean/pea soup mix(just the beans, not the kind with dried broth) .After the beans are mostly cooked I add barley and bariila whole grain macaroni. To make this mix is MUCH cheap[er than buying it.The beans are .79.Usually i make it and freeze it like this and add otherveggies/fruits on the day they eat it. even my keets will eat this if its chopped in a blender.

I make something very similar to Oscar's mom. I use 7 or 10 bean soup mix(beans only), and I add a wild+brown rice mixture or pasta, then add fresh and/or frozen veggies/fruits. I usually cook a potful, let it cool, then freeze in small amounts. I use the quart size Ziplock freezer bags. Since I have small birds I usually fill each bag about 1/3 full. When I need some, I just thaw one bag at a time. One bag is good for aboout 2-3 days.

there's a recipe here called 'Lissa's Kitchen sink rice and beans' that is a lot like what you'd like.
