Popcorn?

Is popcorn ok to feed if I do not add salt? I have a movie theater machine and make it all the time. The only thing it would have on it is the butter/oil that it is cooked in the kettle with.

My tiel loves popcorn time. I give her her own bowl and she jumps in it. I"m fine with giving my tiel popcorn on occassion. I don't know anything about sun conures tho.

My Conures Love popcorn but most of the time we give them the kind that is sold on a cob specifically for birds and then popped with a microwave.

They do occasionally share our popcorn too but it is also microwaved and has no butter or salt.

I'm a popcorn freak. I love it and so do my two cockatiels. I give them some before I put the salt on it and sometimes before the butter. They like it both ways with butter or without.

Actually it is. Birds are lactose intolerant. When I give Echo popcorn I use an air popper without any butter salt or anything..

Is there any type of oil I can cook it in that wouldnt be bad for them? I think what I use now is a butter flavored soy oil, not as bad for you as butter.

You really should invest in an air popper if you want to make popcorn for your FID.
