Quaker Nutrition Question

I got Kiwi on Sunday from Petco, he is almost 9 months old now. He had been there about 3 months and I finally had the funds to rescue him from there and give him a good home! I got the food they were giving him and they said he gets fresh veggies too.

My question/concern is that compared to my parakeets and cockatiel, Kiwi is not eating much. he eats maybe a tablespoon of fresh veggies and about that much in pellet mixed parrot food. I am concerned if this is enough, or does he maybe need to adjust to his new home and environment first? Just don't want him to be hungry, any ideas and help would be appreciated.

Buy a gram scale and use it. Weigh Kiwi every morning after the big poop but before he gets any food. So long as Kiwi isn't loosing weight you shouldn't need to be concerned.
