I don't recommend it. The sprouts are growing in a place where wild birds congregate to eat leftover seed, so there'll be a lot of bird poop there and it might carry diseases. Sprouts are very nutritious and great for your birds, but I think you'd be safer with indoor sprouting.

NO, you could be bringing in molds. If you want to feed sprouts, by new and follow instructions on sprouters.

I agree with the above posters, I wouldn't feed them either..Too much of a risk

NOPE NO No nooooo. Not from the ground. Parasites run rampant in moist environments like that outdoors. This is why some even use a little GSE when they make sprouts indoors to stop fungus from growing.

I've fed these "thrown out plants" to my birds before... they all loved it! Can't say I saw any issues with feeding it.... heck, I'd figure that fresh tree branches would be worse, yet most of my birds love those, too!
