Talking Has anyone shopped at Bird-E-Licious?

You can see their site here: BEST Bird Parrot Food ORGANIC PURE Natural Bird Foraging Toys Parrot Gourmet Premium Fresh Living Quality! BirD-elicious!

It looks like fantastic stuff, but I'd prefer to hear some reviews before I buy from them, my 'dream-cart' had over $150 of things, so before I buy...

I thought I'd ask. Smart consumer and all!

Yes, I have and I love their stuff! I feel your pain though for the cart total, mine is always about $100. If you sign up to be on their birthday list they will send you a $25 gift cert. for shopping there. It is a great deal. Anyway, I am a big fan!

I bought poi specific food for my cape. $60.00 worth. HE DOESN"T LIKE IT :( ! My advice it try a small amount. Our stuff looks great, but it is very green and "sagey". I am trying to mix in in with his other food, but so far he fishes it out and flings it. I am still going to try some of their other items. (He didn't like the breakfast food they included as a gift either, but capes are very picky eaters)

I haven't tried it, but appreciate the link. I am definitely going to try it. It looks good, even though there's nothing I hate more than a site with sounds - makes my animals go crazy.

If you really read the ingrediant list on their species specific diets they all pretty much contain the same stuff. Makes me wonder how species specific it really is.

Actually, they're not even close to the same.... why are you raining on someone's hard earned parade?

Honestly, I was not trying to rain on anyone's parade. I have four birds, each a different species and they make a product for each species. What I did was print out the ingrediant list from each product and with a sharpie I marked off all ingrediants that the same. In many cases the ingrediants were listed in a different order but they were the same.

Like I said I am did not mean to rain on anyone's parade. I was just offering my observation. I have heard many great things about this line of foods and they have a loyal following. I just gave my particular reason for choosing not to purchase their products.

Its too expensive for my taste. I tried it once and my birds ate it although they were not overjoyed.

My ekkie loves the stuff, I buy the species specific, if your bird is used to seed it might take a while to get them on birdelicious though.

I tend to buy too much also hehe, I got last time along with just the food, Dewey one of those Cajeput branches, he loves it and nearly all the bark is gone, citrus boats for him while im gone during the day, and the quinoa breakfast mix.

I dont give it as the base of his diet though, he gets 2 cooked meals (beans, sprouts, pasta, oatmeal, quinoa, rice, ect.), plus fruits and veggies everyday

he gets it for snackage foods while im gone during the day along with:
kashie 7 grain puffs
go-raw live granola
sprouted multi-grain bread the one with no salt
and freeze dried fruits and veggies
