does anyone feed j r farm wellness foods is that a fortified seed mix/?
hi everyone
i am having a dilema as to what to feed my bird durring the day for when i am not there if i am not feeding pellets? at the moment i am using calcivet suppliment in his water and my indain riingneck has gone hyper. Should i be worried? Or am i overreacting? He recently broke his leg so i havent been letting him exercise that much, as i am not sure how healed he is, yet it was just over 2 and a haf weeks ago his leg broke. ![]() should i leave something like hagen tropimix in his bowl drurring the day. At the moment i by something called "tropical parrot mix" from my local petshop. From this i remove sunflower seeds and peanuts, i give give him dried papya corn peas chillis and what looks like spinich dried and a dried red or brown disks not sure what that is though? The food comes in a celofane bag so no ingedient list ![]() I find feeding him quite daunting i soak his seed and try to spout it. I ALSO Sprout beans for him, and quinoa. Totally paraniod about bacteria in his food. Is soaked sead lower in fat than un soaked seed even if it hasnt sprouted when ypu feed it? Is it really a good ida to microwave seed before feeding it to your bird? I read it kills buggs but i dont have a microwave at the mo. Are broad beans ok to feed my ringneck? I'm sorry i'm more than alittle neurotic at the mo, so i have asked alot of questions at once. He always has some fresh veg at least once a day, which he eats with grater appetite than when he was fed pellets. The vet said he was healling ok, and i am trying to help him along , I just woundered what your thoughts were? |
