My bird, Phoenix is on a blend of the Roudybush Low Fat Maintenance pellet and LaFeber pellets. I like these two because they don't have artificial colors/flavors and no harmful preservatives. Comparing the two, I like the LeFeber because the pellets aren't extruded (not exposed to extremely high temperatures, but rather, slowly-cooked) so many of the nutrients aren't broken down. I like the Roudybush Low Fat pellets because RB2's have a tendency to become overweight. I now blend the two pellets together for Phoenix's morning meal. Veggies, sprouted seeds, grains, beans, and fruits are also an important part of her diet as well, though.
