brand of bird seed

Does anyone here feed their birds seed mixes made by Drs. Foster and Smith? I usually feed Higgins or Volkman's. I am getting ready to place an order with Foster and Smith for toys and Pellets and Nutriberries and I was thinking how nice it would be to get my seed from them as well then I don't need to place another order somewhere else just for seed. I was wondering about the quality of the seed. If anyone uses this brand, could you let me know? Thanks!!!

Personally, I don't care to feed dyes to my birds... so I refuse to buy a brand of seeds or pellets that have dyes.

I'm sure that there are those people out there who love the mix!

I've bought it from time to time (my seed shopping has a lot to do with what is on sale that meets my standards and who has 25# bags of each "flavor" with my motley crew) and everyone seemed to like it.

Monica, what do you mean "dyes"? I'm not sure what you're talking about. Are you talking about the seed mixes from Drs. Foster and Smith? I've never ordered their seed mixes before so I'm not sure what they consist of.

Some of the seeds in the volkman mix are dyed. I feed Higgins, I'm very pleased with the quality and price.
