best food???

ok so i have finally found a uk source for some of the food stuffs that i have seen you guys talk about so which type of food do you feed your fid aside from veggies and fruit i'm talking store bought, i was thinking of trying the zupreem pellets as pepper is on seeds at the minute (i didn't know this was bad) as its what she was eating at the pet store but i think looking at the photo's of your conures that she is a little thin and also not in the best condition (she's moulting but i still dont think the pet store did her any good) i've bought some calci vet and daily essentials no3 if they are any good but i just want to make her really healthy and happy i love her so much more than i thought i would, even though it can hurt sometimes lol.
so which store bought foods are best in you guy's opinion?

my Sennie does well with Zupreem. She prefers the fruity kind though.

well my quaker likes harrisons pellets and also likes lafabers pellets too . and when in a pinch i will use zupreem . there are many good pellets on the market you just have to find out what your birds like and will eat . I also feed my quaker birdie bread . I make my own if you would like the recipe i would be more than happy to share the recipe . good luck .

you'd be surprised how little there is on the market here in Northern Ireland there are literally NO pellets in any of my local pet stores all they sell is seed mixes i found an online store that sells zupreem and beak apetite and some of the little snack type foods so i think i'll give the fruit pellets a go and see what pepper thinks of those i'd love to try birdy bread but i'm not sure how the ingredients translate and whether i'll be able get them locally but i'd give it a go.

hard to obtain and normally way more expensive. like i said i have to get our pellets from england, its actually cheaper to get toys and food from england including shipping than to drive down the road and buy them in the local petshop

and thank you so much for the reply anyway and you did help, i would love to try some of that birdy bread but i'm not sure if i could as we wouldn't have the same ready mixes or flour i think most of the breads use corn flour and i'm not sure if we have that. thanks again.

the thing that really gets my goat is the cage prices in the uk and ireland i'm green with envy at the type of cage i could have afforded for pepper if i was in the US, on a plus though pepper ate veggies for the first time today so I'm well pleased about that one!! she ate green beans, broccoli and cauliflower and also some of the barley and split pea mix that i boiled up for her.
i settled on the zupreem fruity pellets and if she takes those well i'll try some of the avian entrees i also ordered some nutri berries so i'm hopeful she'll take to her new diet.
