Would it be okay to feed a bird tofu?

We don't have any worms and it seems like the closest thing to a worm.

It looks like you're right, it's a robin.

Well... actually...

(funny, I have done rehab work for ages and was even licensed and all... but I have never thought of using tofu!)

As tofu is from soybean curd and robins are rather "omnivorous" birds... if it is plain tofu it might just work. Be VERY careful not to overfeed.

Anyone here do rehab and have a clue on this one?

I really do think you should see if you can relocate the nest.

If you feel it is hurt, then do not put it back outside where you found it as it could end up as prey. Do you have a dog? If so take some dog kibble and soak it in water until it is soggy (completely soaked through). Once it is soggy drop one piece at a time (can break each piece into two) down its throat until his crop looks to be full. (Usually 2-4 pieces) Keep the baby in a dark, warm and quiet place away from your pet birds if you should have any. Call a vet in the a.m. to see if they have the phone number to any rehabbers in your area that deal with birds.
