Hmmm...

I buy roasted, unsalted, soy nuts. Looks like they are ok. I get them from the health store along with organic flax seed and unsalted pine nuts.

I need to get more pine-nuts. I ate them all on my poor fids last night... I had a major craving.

I is a Baaaaaaaaad Mommy! LOL

OM, sprouted beans should be safe so long as the tails are AT LEAST 1/4" long.

As for living with a mitred, I can say it's certainly different than any other bird! Personally, I think Charlie would do well with a buddy, but Noel doesn't like him!

Unbelievable... that is all I can say!

On my list of birds I adore are:
Goffins Too
Zons
Caiques

This guy is all of them rolled into one! And I had never seen or even heard of one in 10 years of doing rehab/rehome fostering!

I am so glad you are breeding them. More people here in the east need to get interested in these big goofs! I might be interested in a chick at some point... keep in touch! LOL
