dehydrater

Hi,just got a food dehydrator,but it has no book with it? I want to do fruits veggies etc,it is a snackmaster,I can't find the company online? anyone else do fruits veggies for the flock?Thanks in advance for help

Just keep in mind when things are dehydrated the sugars are concentrated so when you are giving a piece remember the original size it was before so that you don't give too much sugars which will lead to infections.

Snackmaster is what Nesco calls some of their dehydrators. Nesco has owners manuals for several different models online at NESCO® American Harvest - Buy Online! I'm guessing that they're all fairly similar, so if you're not sure which model you have or even if yours turns out to be a completely different brand, probably any or all of them will give you a pretty good idea of what to do.
