Ebay

Would or has anyone bought food via an Ebay store? I'm assuming it would be just as fresh as coming from any internet store. Thoughts?

I havent but I HAVE looked - I have looked at ebay "stores" and I think I would buy from them. Sometimes you can get a lower price too, which is always good!!

It could be fine, but the only thing you want to be careful of is people buying food in bulk and then repackaging it themselves to sell off in smaller quantities. That again might be fine, but it could also result in food that's stale, has bugs in it, has filler added, etc.

The same thing can easily happen at a non-eBay store too, but one would assume/hope there's a bit more quality control at a normal store.

But if the store/seller has a good rating and it seems like they sell in original packaging or otherwise take efforts to make sure the food mixes are in their original packaging and/or are fresh, you can find some good deals through eBay.

I'm with Lisa..have not & would not....and I'm not in the business. Sydney's well being is more important than any "savings" I may get on-line.

All Sydney's food (except for fresh veggies) comes from a local "bird only" store that we've been going to for some time now.

yeah, I was a little too skeptical. I buy a lot of things from ebay, but when it comes to my pets, I'm too nervous. I won't even by my dogs' flea meds off ebay. Don't even know why I asked. LOL

good to hear you support a local store.

I love Ebay. but would just be skeptical of buying foods . I happen to know one ebay online store (for parts) that I do plan on getting things from, because I know and trust the person.
