Thanks for the recipe, I am going to try that. I may try half baby food and half juice to moisten the muffins. I have made carrot muffins for my human kids using carrot baby food and they didn't even know I slipped the extra veg in there. They were really moist.
I noticed a lot of recipes have peppers or pepper flakes. Do birds taste the heat from them and do they like that?

Looks good! I just recommend eliminating the baking soda (high sodium) and cutting down on the baking powder - 1 tsp would be plenty. Birds don't need light and airy, and they have good, strong beaks. Also, I'd cut the oil by at least 1/2. That's a lot of oil. You also can add powdered pellets to your mix.
