Pasta Salad

I made Boomer and Chiquita pasta salad this morning and I thought I would share what I did.

The food I used:

A clove or two of garlic

Pasta- I used macaroni and cheese pasta
Canola Oil
Cucumber
Red/Green/Yellow peppers
Carrots
Broccoli
Celery
Peas
Corn
Cauliflower
Sweet Peas

I mixed the veggies up in a food processor and added canola oil "before" I mixed it up. I boiled the macaroni and mixed it up with the veggies.

I even tasted it and it’s really good. I made a lot and froze some of it. My birdies LOVE it.

YUMMY MOMMY!!!!

The vegetable part looks great! Next time, I suggest substituting whole grain pasta or cooked whole grains (wheat berries, buckwheat, brown rice, barley, etc.) for the refined white pasta.

Okay, I wrote it all down and will get the stuff next time I go to the grocery store.

I tried this myself and it's yummy. It's the garlic that makes it taste good.

Looks great, similar to what I do but with brown rice etc, is the oil really needed?

Trust me, it was VERY easy. I don't think the oil is necessary. I guess it's just so the veggies don't stick to the food processor.
