cream of chicken
Hmm.. well cream of chicken has milk in it which birds can't digest well. There is onion powder but it's way down the list, but onion is toxic to birds. Hmmm..anyone else with an opinion?

Yes the lactose and the onion was what worried me, but I'm sure it's only a small percentage. I think a little bit would be fine, especially if you washed anything with water before offering it. Bu I'll let someone else come along and add to this as well! Get a few opinions before making your decision Emilly.

No, not good. Campbell's soup is very high in salt for a start, definitely not good for birds, then there's the refined white flour ("enriched wheat flour"), chicken fat, monosodium glutamate, whey powder, cream, onion powder and chicken flavoring, none on a good list for birds.
The more natural state the food is in, the better for our birds. Peferably fresh raw vegetables (best minced or run through the food processor to eliminate picking out favorites), whole grains cooked or sprouted, a small amount of fresh fruit, some dry seed/grains, pellets, and certain easily digested legumes, soaked and fully sprouted or soaked and cooked. Any kind of canned food will most likely be way too high in salt, some frozen food also. Processed foods for humans just don't work for parrots if you're looking for good nutrition.
