|
If you could only choose one fruit, what would it be and why?
Well the title says it all. If you could only choose one type of fruit for your birds, what would it be any why? nutritional value, favorite treat? etc.
I know fruit is a limited part of a parrots diet as it can contain a lot of sugar but I thought I would start this thread to get some new ideas for my guys.

Abbey would pick grapes, they are messy and she loves them. I would pick maraschino cherries, I know they aren't healthy since they soak in sugar but I love them

My Ziggy loves grapes. The breeder said she was weaning him onto a "variety" of veg and fruit yet she only introduced him to grapes. That is his favorite fruit. He will beak other types but usually bites off chunks and feeds them to the dogs rather than swallowing them. Its so cute. He carries the piece around until he sees one of the dogs then he drops it and watches them eat it LOL.

Grapes Grapes and more Grapes, lol!!! Both Boomer and Chiquita love them.
