Apple Juice? Peanut Butter?

I was wondering if KeeWee, my Quaker, could have some apple juice? It has no added sugar, just natural sugars, and it is the "Best Choice" brand. Also, KeeWee LOVES peanut butter. Is that safe for him? Thanks so much!

100% fruit juice is fine...in moderation, of course. Peanut butter is ok too in small amounts, but you will want to use a brand that does not have any added salt/sugar/etc. You'll probably have to find an organic peanut butter.

yip - agreed... my guys don't like peanut butter much, but i do have a jar of just pure peanut butter (without additives)

also, valo loves orange juice and he's always allowed a little sip in the morning :)

^^ agree with the others! Cookie goes crazy for a sip of apple juice out of my cup!

Abbey is a drink theft. I call her my little rat since she is always stealing drinks an food. We only drink juice and water so it is ok. She doesn't like peanut butter. She does like her toast in the morning to have honey on it. My rotten bird...lol

LOL so random, Neko and Oliver LOVE apple juice. Seriously its like birdie wine or something!! I love watching them drink it because they are almost endlessly thirsty - I always end up having to take it away.

Honey is bad for them, it can cause botulism. Same reason you shouldn't give it to babies under a year old.

Never serve your caiques honey, which can contain clostridium botulinum (birds are particularly vulnerable to botulism).

Shakti loves ACAI juice but at $6.50 a quart it is expensive. Anytime Shakti sees us with a glass in our hand she has to have some -- so we are now buying organic juices.

Chiquita LOVES apple juice. She gets it once a week and laps it up like crazy. She also LOVES orange juice.
