I personally use the Zupreem pellets for Lola. She also gets fruits, veggies, seeds, other things as well. Zupreem seems to have a pretty high reputation from what I can tell.
I know there are quite a few opinions on this, so I'm sure you'll get more posts :)

The use of pellets can be so confusing. Are they necessary? Is fresh food a good replacement for pellets? Who knows! I try to get my bird to eat them just for safe keeping and minerals and vitamins. She does eat seed and veggies, fruit, and some cooked stuff also. My understanding of pellets from conversation and research is that Zupreem is a good pellet for the price and will certainly give the bird what it needs. Natural colored pellets are better than the colored ones because they have no artificial coloring in them and such. That being said, there are better pellets you can purchase. Harrison's is an organic pellet that is usually at the top of the list but it is expensive. Second would have to be Roudybush. I have tried them both and if my bird will eat them, she prefers Roudybush. I don't know where Lafeber's pellets stand in people's opinion but my bird does not like them. Another brand that is supposed to be good quality is Goldenfeast. Another expensive one and I have never tried them with my birds.

My birds get cooked foods and fresh fruits/veggies for their main meal of the day, but I do offer a small dish of TOP Organic pellets as well. By themselves I don't consider pellets an ideal diet, but they do add variety, which I feel is important.
As to Zupreem, Mira was eating that when I got her, and though she did all right I prefer using a more natural product. The TOP pellets are available locally; I would have ordered Harrison's otherwise.

I've tried Zupreem (actually, that's what my mitred eats right now... both my conures are safflower junkies, so the pellets are probably a good thing!), Mazuri, and now also have a bag of TOP, but I haven't opened those yet... Thus far, I do prefer TOP (even though I've never tried it) however there are no local dealers here and I hate buying stuff over the net (specifically because I have no credit card or anything of the sort, and I prefer fresh diets over formulated).
There is a new brand of pellets that I may recommend, however at the moment I can't recall the brand name... I believe it originates from Australia, and the person who's making them is actually making SPECIES SPECIFIC formulas... where-as most pellet companies out there tend to make a "one size fits all" kind of deal.... as in the same diet that may be fed for macaws is also being fed to cockatiels, even though they have different dietary needs. Harrison's is one of the companies that gets close to species specific but not quite... and besides, I think there is more hype about the product than is worth it... Actually, thinking about the species specific pellets, they are made by Dr. Mac's Organic Origins.... Dr Mac's Organic Origins And although they may not be available for purchase in the USA, I hope that many people take interest so that the product will be... I'm thinking that this brand may turn out to be the best pellet brand out there...
