I got my scale at bed bath and beyond too. Was about $35 and works really well.

Yep, got mine at Bed Bath & Beyond too, it's just a small kitchen gram scale. Jerry needs a perch to step onto usually, so I just put a drinking glass on it and zero it out and then have Jerry step onto the rim of the glass.

Any type of kitchen, diet, or postal scale will work. Most have the option of grams or oz readout.
