Corina, Severe Macaw: 360 grams. Dave weighs her once a month - it's like clockwork. She's fluctuated between 356 grams and 375 in the two and a half years that I've known my husband, but 360 seems to be the number that comes up most often.

I am stoked I just got back from buying a scale. And hey I even remembered to buy the battery!
So here we are: Sundown 7 y/o M Sun Conure-112 g Sparky 6 y/o M Cag-524 g Icarus (age ?) M GCC-74 g ZZ 2 y/o M Cag 482 g I am relieved after reading everyone's post. I thought ZZ was getting thin. But I think it is his scraggle look from molting. I called the vet and his weight 4 months ago was 467. So we are in good shape! And Mackey won't let me weigh him. Of course. I am slightly embarassed to have just now bought scales after all these years.

Bogie has been weighing in at between 32 and 34 GR before eating in the morning. Just talked to the breeder and he said Bogie is about 5 1/2 months old now. These pics were taken 7/7/07.
This morning, however, I weighed him after he ate his veggies and he weighed 34 GR then the scale popped to 36 and back again to 34GR. His diet is Totally Organic pellets mixed with Exact in his cage all day in one separate cup and Soak & Cook mixed with Exact pellets until 3 PM when they are replaced with just Exact. In the morning on the dining room table on a paper plate he eats his Kung Fu Yum with baby broccoli or fresh peas or carrots or all three. At night I have been giving him a 1/2 tsp of seed but I will not start cutting that out. He always has a piece of apple at night while we watch the news. In his sleep cage, he has pellets. What is everyone else feeding their fids. I worry so about FLD. My Too Hoppy had it. It's awful. He was a sunflower seed junkie when we brought him into our home and could never break his habit. RIP Hoppy, we miss you.
