How to stop Budgie from flying for a few days - BirdBoard.Com - Parrot Message Board & Pet Bird Owner Forums

My budgie sprained his wing and i want him to rest it for a few days. I took out the high perches in his cage to stop him from flying around as much, but he just keeps flying up and looking for it. It seems to be doing more harm than good.

Any ideas?

Poor baby! Do you have a travel cage that you could keep him in for a bit?

How about some time consuming toys a ladder or some millet spray?

They are determined little ones!! I can't say that I have any more advice than what's already been given.
