safe or toxic?

I have a passion vine growing in my yard (for the butterflies primarily) that has been blooming profusely. Butterflies use the flower for nectar and the zebra longwing uses the vegetation for a larval food. The vine produces fruits from the flowers and I am wondering if they would be safe to give to the birds.

Anyone have any knowledge or experience with the passion vine fruit? (I am in Florida)

My parrot loves them though, and considers them a delicacy.

I would assume that it is safe since I can't find anything that says otherwise... but then again there doesn't seem to be much out there on the plant as a whole....
