KOngs for parrots

I know they sell kongs fr dogs in all shaped and sizes and some are designed to be stuffed with food for dogs. For smaller birds like conures and such, you could put shelled nuts or crackers in with a little natural peanut butter to make it a little messier and let them dig into that. or maybe just the crackers...

What a creative idea! If I can get mine to take to the toy (aka not be terrified of it) I will definitely give it a shot! Thank you! :D

Re: KOngs for parrots

A Kong is a rubber dog toy. They are known for being pretty durable for rough play. They can be on the pricier side, but they hold up well. By the way, I did try this by putting pieces of dried nuts in with my bird. It fun watching her try to push the Kong at the right angle so the nuts fall out. Sometimes she just likes to nibble on the outside of it.

Try out some of the King toys. They're right next to the Kong toys. I think they look like little apes. ----Dave
