bonding?

How long did it take before you noticed a pair had bonded? I have a nanday&jenday who I've recently housed together and two quakers together,no one is fighting but how long before you saw "bonding" behavior?

I don't house birds together unless I KNOW they'll get alone... I wouldn't dare put my two conures together! That would be asking for trouble!

If I put two or more birds together that may get alone, but end up don't then they are kept separate (sept for the tiels who are cage-free... if they don't like eachother they can simply move out of the way....)

I once put Tomi Girl in with the tiel family to get her into bathing... wasn't left there as I knew she wouldn't get along with the family.... I put the budgies together so long as they aren't too aggressive with eachother....

Currently have one of the budgies housed with the bourke (medical cage as I've termed it.... nothing special, other than a place for the birds to rest and heal from injuries that may have been caused by one of the other birds). The bourke copies some of the things the budgie does, but otherwise are not bonded (both are females). Before the budgie Casey was in there (budgie and Casey both got bitten toes...)

So I guess I can't say I'm of much help!
