Question Anybody know what this tree is

hi,does anybody know what kind of tree this is?there are lots of them growing where i walk the dogs and if they are safe i was thinking of using them for perches,i think it might be some kind of willow but im not sure.

I can't really tell from the pictures, but the leaves look similar to the leaves on my willow tree:




I found this site that gives some useful information on quite a few different types of trees, might make it easier to figure out what some of the different trees are? Tree Pictures, great photos of trees and information on tree types

You can easily google "ID Tree" and you should find plenty of sites that should help you determine the type of tree...

Things to take into consideration before you use any branches... is the area near heavy traffic? Are there gardeners who may use chemicals or fertilizers in the area?
