These plants safe I assume?

I have a small patio and want to grow some plants that my future bird can partake from. That future bird is going to be a budgie, if that matters.

So far, I have a few plants in mind I want to grow in pots. They are: dandelion, milk thistle, millet (which type though is best?), wheat grass, canary grass, and chickweed. Don't worry, I will be making sprouts too, but I would like some plants as well. Would it be safe to assume these plants and all their parts are 100% safe for a budgie? I would like to chop some of the plant stems and offer it to the budgie (for entertainment or eating doesn't matter).

I wouldn't think that milk thistle plant would be safe per-say.... considering the plant itself.... But seeds certainly would be fine!

The others though I would say would be safe....

Probably doesn't matter the type of millet.... not that I know of at least!

Good point on the milk thistle. Didn't even realize it was pokey like. Thanks.
