how big is it?? any chance you could let it soak in the bath or a big basin with some bleach,if it will fit but wont submerge completely you can soak one end and then turn it upside down for the other end.

Unfortunantly not. I had to scrub it and then put it in the shower to rinse it. I think I might steam clean it tomorrow. I don't see anything on it but I feel like there is a little spot somewhere that I missed.

Take it to the local self car wash, bleach the hell out of it, don't forget about contact time. Rinse it ubber good to get all the bleach residue off. Of course a heavy duty power washing at home would work just as well as the car wash.
I'd still steam clean it if you have a steamer.

GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract) is good to disinfect with after power washing and bleaching it.

Thanks. I took it apart and brought it outside. Scrubbed and scrubbed 3 times with bleach, front and back. Then rinsed, rinsed and rinsed. Sprayed with vinegar and rinsed 4 times and then left it outside for 2 hours. Brought it in and steam cleaned away. All in all I spent about 4 hours just cleaning this cage today so I think it's about as clean as it can get. Now just have to get to the store for some longer perches.
