They are chinese... and tibetan and mongolian... look up wolfberries on Wikipedia to get ALL the info.... I'm at a huge delema as well. Wawa took a great liking to them and I WAS really happy about that. Now what!

I wouldn't risk it. I've heard about the sprays they use too.

If anything buy or grow some fresh berries, wash them thoroughly and dry them yourself. Although that said most birds will prefer a fresh berry to a dry one anyway. Freezing works if you have a number of them.

And yeah, Wolfberries was the original name, Goji was something the advertising goons came up with to make it sound more fancy i reckon

I just dry the blackcurrants and gooseberries off my bushes in the garden, they love em :)

Goji taste like grapes anyway (rasins) so just buy grapes and dry them in the sun and turn them daily

My Brother planted some berries that he bought. They are growing well. Maybe you should just plant some berries.
