What are these lumps on my bird's toes?

My 11 month old English budgie has odd "bumps" on her toes of one foot.
White-ish/yellow lumps/growths.
Two lumps as shown in pics, and one on a back toe on the same foot.

White-ish yellow in color. Have the initial appearance of crystals.
I gently poked the back toe lump - doesn't "seem" painful, moves at base, might be fluid or jelly filled ... like a huge plugged pore...

Those lumps weren't there in April. I have some pics taken in July, and they are there, but smaller.

They don't look like what I read mites are supposed to look like.
No dry flaky scaly skin, no thorny skin, no tiny holes the mites made ...
I found a pic on the web for mites on feet and beak and it doesn't look at all like these.

Never seen this before.
Anyone know what this is?

But they don't look anything like the pictures of scaly face, or scaly mites on toes ...
The bumps are kind of translucent.

Many mite cases are not diagnosed until it's a severe condition, so you can't rule out mites. However, I couldn't tell you what else it may be, and it may be something you'd have to ask an avian vet about. Sorry.

Thats not gout. Gout is internal like arthritis and it would not be little lumps but more like enlarged joints. And there would be pain.

I understood gout to be tiny crystalline deposits within the joint spaces, causing swollen and painful joints.
-- attached picture of budgie with gout, (Thanks Monica. Found my way to the pages there :) )
-- pic of "Joint aspirate showing uric acid crystals"
both from ocw.tufts.edu/Content/5/lecturenotes/215764 page

These are protruding bumps, that can be wiggled.

It might not be scaley mites... but I don't think anyone on this forum could tell you for sure because we aren't avian vets. If you would like a professional opinion, please ask an a-vet.

Knemidokoptes pilae (commonly known as "burrowing mites" or "scaly face mites")

Knemidokoptes mutans (commonly known as "scaly leg mites")

Birds Online - Health and diseases - Parasite infestation - Burrowing mites (scaly face/leg mite)
