Ekkie with damaged feather

Our female ekkie damaged one of her feathers while playing. It's now hanging off to an odd angle. It's a flight feather. Can we just pull this feather?

I wouldn't recommend pulling it out yourself, he should take care of it on his own. My birds have done this before and they manage to get it themselves.

If it's a fully grown feather, the blood has receded, either leave it and allow your ekkie to deal with it as she pleases, or snip/twist it off at the break. No need to pull it.

I usually leave them until they break off them selves or get clipped in the next clip job...or make it "time" for the next clip job, lol.
