parrots with chickens?

hey all,
i dont know if this is the right place but we have wanted to get chickens for a long time cause we like our eggs, and ive been nagging my parents (still) to have a pet bird. anyway, i have designed the aviary for the chickens, got its spot selected and all that jazz and my parents are lightening to the idea of a bird being kept out side in an aviary. i can't get some that i would like but i have a few questions about it anyway:
1) if you had a hand tame bird and kept it out doors, would it still be a friendly pet if you brought it in while im at home, or because it is exposed to "nature" and the wild would it loose confidence in people?
2) i would be inclined to breed birds i have been helping my boss and a mate and we recently got babies from some princess parrots, corella's, tawny frog mouths and blue winged kookaburras. so i kind of have experience with breeding and keeping birds.
3) when we get chickens, i wanted to get a pair of a single hand tame bird in there but would and of these birds be good with chickens?:
-masked love birds
-port linkon parrots
-sun conures
i was reading a little about some and i couldnt find much about port linkon parrots but it said sun conures and conures in general are ok with other birds but peach face are not, but would they hurt or kill a bird that are about 10x the size of them that lives only on the ground?
anyway any information on birds with chickens would be much appreciated or any other birds that would go well with chickens would be great.
and also if anyone was interested, the aviary is 3m x 1.7 x 1.9 (LXWXH)

Cheers,
Luke

There's another post about keeping chickens and parrots together, why don't you do a quick search because I wrote about a whole lot of reasons why parrots should certainly NOT be kept with chickens unless you want sick, injured or dead birds.

But you can keep tame parrots outside and they will still be tame if you continue to interact with them. I would never keep parrots with chickens.

Yea, that sad auction I went to a few month ago had chickens running around lose in their aviaries! There were 2 rows of cages, a small barn inside the middle of the open cages, with about 50 chickens running around. It was not a pretty sight. The first thing I thought was, it only takes one sick chicken to kill your whole flock, that is just nuts.

I've heard of parrots being kept in aviaries with quail, and I think some other species of ground birds, as well... but I certainly would not suggest chickens and parrots.

I don't understand what the idea behind this is? What's the "benefits"? Chickens can't live on hulls of seeds, and they'd get pooped on and everything...

That was the exact thing that happened at the auction! The chickens were all getting pooped on by huge macaws and cockatoos. The only birds away from the chickens were the hyacinths....not a coincidence I bet.
