LOST - African Grey - Chicago, IL

We lost our African Grey, Tucker, in Chicago, IL this past Saturday (November 10th). She is a young female and was lost wearing her bright blue flightsuit.

If anyone has any ideas on more ways to help us locate her, please let me know. Also, if you have more areas to post her missing information, please feel free to go right ahead. Her info is as follows:

Lost African Grey in Lincoln Park/DePaul neighborhood near Oz Park. Grey Body with red tail. Wearing bright blue flightsuit (diaper). Lost on November 10th.

If you have seen or found this bird, please call: (773) 808-3924

Any help is appreciated. We are heartbroken and are praying for her safe return.

Tonya

Call any and all avian vets... Remember that U of I Chicago has one of the best avian vet schools in the nation.
Call Greater Chicago Bird club. They can get the message out.
Call any avian rescue you can find. Rescue for Saving Wild Life is one of them.
Call the county rescues, they will put your number up.
Call radio stations that will announce lost pets for free... Think WGN will. Send email's with pics to the local TV stations, they may announce it on the morning news
If you have another bird, make a recording of it, and keep it playing out the window for a half hour at a time. Posters, posters, posters Everywhere within a one mile radius.
Walk around calling. Ask Kids (with parents permission) to look.

Keeping you in prayer. ((hugs))

Great news!!!! Tucker was found and is now home! He made his way to a zoo that was at least 9 blocks away. He crawled up the leg of a maintenence worker and nestled in next his neck on his shoulder. The zoo called me this morning and I went and picked him up. We just got back from the vet. He's doing good, just very tired and hungry.

Thank you to everyone for your support!

Oh man. Whew. You used up two of your freebies on this one. All I could think of was the cold weather coming in.

Congratulations and thanks for updating us with this wonderful news!
