Lost your Black Capped Conure in VA?

What a strange day here.

I had someone who came by who said, "I have something for you". I had to follow him outside to his truck and he told me he had a box for me. Skeptical as he was wearing a "home depot apron" had a commercial barbeque grill on the back of his trailing and a foam cooler, I had no idea what he heck was going on.
He told me this was the last place he was going to stop to drop off this box. When I looked inside there was this Black Capped Conure looking up at me. I toldl him I would take it, thanked him and asked if he found the bird. He did an he was in a tree.

He is banded. If anyone knows of someone who may have lost this nice bird, please call us. I will notify the shelter the bird is here.

Thanks,
Alice
