LOST LOVEBIRD
Queens NY From: SAMMY8373@aol.com On may 31 I lost my blue masked lovebird. She was lost in Richmond Hill Queens NY - around 116 st. She has a black and white head, More black than white. She has no tag on her foot. Her beak is a pailish pink and her eyes have a white eyering. Her body has gray feathers due to feather lost. Her wings are blue green and her tail is bluish.

She was last seen by a pizza shop on myrtle avenue in queens ny, around richmond hill.

I really will do all I can to find my lost bird because she is like a family member. I hope someone can find my bird Tweety. Even if it is August or September, birds can fly and 2-3 months doesn't mean she is not coming back, because it is possible. Thank you very much

FOUND COCKATIEL

(July 31, 2006) out side I found a bird. Well actually my dogs found it. They were barking and looking up at something on the electric wire so when I looked up I found an all cockatiel. My mom and I got our neighbor to help get it down. After about 20 minutes it flew down to us because we had set up a cage with food and water. When my neighbor who is a bird expert held the bird she said it felt very thin. The wings are NOT clipped and it has no band on it. It is in a cage with plenty of food and water. This bird is lost. We can hold on to it for now. My mom will call the Garden City Police today to see if any birds have been reported missing. Please contact us at . Thank you so much. It is a very sweet and beautiful bird.

I already saw your post on 911 Parrot Alert. I think it was a cross-post from Craigslist.

Thumbs down

I was just reading along here of the green parrot that was found, asking for reinbursment of the food you fed it is down right selfish I'm sorry to say. Thank god you found it, and thank heaven it does belong to someone out there who's going to be mighty happy if they do get there little friend back to them. Anyway, If I find a bird who is lost I don't want any money in return, knowing I found it's rightful owner will be all I will need in return, asking for money to put back seed you feed to a parrot , ghezz did the poor bird eat your wallet to?
