LOST TAG, Kent Island - cross-post

If any one of you is a member of the 911 lost and found bird group,
could you please check if this has been sent to them already, and if
not, can you please do so? And in the mean time, please keep a look
out for this lost little African Grey!

I know this isn't a Lost & Found group but it was the only way I
could
think of to target the Kent Island area. I have just learned of a
lost
Timneh African Grey parrot on Kent Island. This parrot is about the
size of a pigeon but not as plump, it is grey with a maroonish/black
tail. Her name is Josie, she is tame, can say the word "water" and
is a
good flyer. It's possible she may land on your head. If this
happens,
leaving the bird on your head, please walk to an enclosed area and
call
Jane at 410 923 6193. Please call Jane immediately if you even see
Josie! This parrot is a much loved and much missed family companion.
Josie's Mom is frantic and Josie is probably pretty frightened,
please
help her get back home! Thank you so much for allowing me to post
this
