Missing Birds in the South Florida

I was contacted by a writer for the Miami Herald. She is doing a
story on Missing Birds in the South Florida area....Please contact
her if you have a lost or stolen bird. Send her the information on
your bird.
From your submissions she can gather enough information to do this
article and hopefully we will get more public awareness on the
importance of trying to find owners....and maybe some of the missing
birds will be reunited.
I am not sure how much will be printed in the article..but I did ask
if it was okay for memebers with missing birds to contact her..and
it is..

In the subject line enter "911 Parrot Alert response" I would
suggest you include your tele number and enter your email addy in
the body of the message.
Explain how our birds are our family members and we want them
returned as one would return a dog or cat.
Here's hoping this is a step to get more birds reunited.

I wonder if she is doing this based on the the two recent snatchings in Loxahatchee... and then the milo's ranch snatchings of PDD birds... very sad... both have been in the newspapers down here.
