I lost my parrot (Scout)on Oct 03.06 w/no sightings at all there are only 2 possibilites- someone either found him right away & has been keeping him & does/does not know I'm looking for him, OR he died w/in the 1st few days waiting for me to find him. So my only hope now is that someone has taken him in & will see a post or a flyer or hear from someone else that I'm searching & they'll contact me. He was last seen on E. 109 St. bx 1st & 2nd Aves. in Manhattan.

Also while I've contacted the major animal hospitals & vets in NYC, I need help getting my flyer to them so if you live near a vet & can bring them a flyer on your way somewhere, please email me & I'll send it to you. The thing for vets to really know is that ANY NEW client who brings in a Hahn's Macaw or has brought one in since 10/3 could be bringing in Scout. I have proof of ownership (DNA & paperwork) but it's worthless if I don't have a bird to match it to! That's why they need to be on the alert for ANY NEW Hahn's Macaw that's brought in. That species isn't so common & there can't be that many vets seeing lots of new Hahn's Macaws in Manhattan from the time I lost him to over the next couple mos.

ANYWAY I've been able to raise more $ for the reward so it's now $1500 & in addition if the person who has been taking care of Scout wd like another parrot, I'll get them one plus a brand new large cage, toys, & year supply of food & treats as thanx for taking care of Scout. I can't raise the $ any more bc if someone has him they may hold onto him hoping I'll up it again so this is final. I'll also give the $ to anyone who just gives me correct info about where Scout might be &/or if someone has him. Please keep in mind I don't know if anyone has him, if they do have him- whether or not they know I'm looking for him or if they're trying to hide or sell him (they won't get more than $700 MAX for him on the street so they're better off contacting me & getting the reward-no questions asked. I just want him home.) I don't know so I'm preparing for any scenario.

Just for the record, this is getting HARDER and not easier as time goes by and I miss him more every day. I am going crazy without him. I was probably too attached, but there is nothing I can do to change that and I just want him back. I miss him- my heart hurts so much.
