Well, I heard from the man. He did find a bird 2 years ago in my area. A cockatoo. *sigh*

Thank you guys for being here for us. Every day is just a little bit harder.

Oh no...my poor friend. I'm so sorry. I know how you feel...every time my phone rings my heart just jumps...and nothing...
Don't give up. We will find them. Did you read the Dusty's story...the AG from Michigan....found after 7 months and 2000 miles from the home? Miracles DO happen.
For now hang in there! I'm praying for your baby.

Hugs,
Katie.

Well I hope you both find your lost FIDS.

For me I have a story too.3 years ago the weekend of July 4th an acquaintance of mine broke in my house and stole all my FIDS except for my Senegal.I called the police but they were of no help they don't consider this of any real importance.Well within a week the person that stole my birds was shot and killed doing transactions concerning birds.I believe it had to do with my birds along with others birds.

To this day I still haven't given up on finding them.Anytime I see an ad in my area selling a particular bird like mine.I go and check with the possibility that it is my stolen birds. Now here it is 3 years later after searching for them.I have moved since than and purchased new birds but still have not given up hope of being reunited with my stolen birds.Even if I have to buy them back from the current owner I am still hoping to locate them one day.

I am now owned by 18 FIDS so that's 17 more that I started out with 3 years ago.I still miss them dearly.

Oh my goodness, how horrible! I'm so sorry Marcia. People do horrible things to each other. To steal birds or any kind of pet it's just the worst!!!
I hope you will find at least few of them if not all!

Hugs,
Katie.

I'm so sorry, I hope you find your little 'tiel. I would also suggest you talk to your mailman, paperboy etc. and give them a flyer. Another thought is to send flyers to dog/cat groomers, now that the weather is getting warmer people will be bringing in their pets for summer clips and dips. I've heard people ask my groomer for general pet advice while waiting for my dog and might ask about bird care. If there are children in your neighborhood talk to their parents, kids love to talk and someone might know of a kid talking about the neat bird they found. Take care of yourself, get some rest.
