Sad Times - need a home

Hello,

We have had a wonderful mealy amazon for 15 years (Bubb is 17 yrs old). We also have a 12 yrs old Umbrella Cockatoo (Rocko). We are planning a move to Hawaii this year to start a new business. Since this will keep us traveling a lot, we made the VERY hard decision to try to find homes for Bubb and Rocko, It hurts to think about it. As you can imagine, we don't want to run an ad and just sell them to any one. If we do, we'd insist on a visit to the home first, and that may seem weird to people. At 17 yrs old, Bubb is pining for a mate now. Does anyone have any recommendations of how we can make sure they go to good 'bird friendly' homes, or a preputable breeder for Bubb? We'd be willing to have direct contact with folks to discuss our options. BTW we're in Atlanta.
