I have to find a home for my macaw. My son is apparently allergic to him. He's a military macaw and very sweet when he gets to know you. I just want him to find a good EXPERIENCED home. Adoption fee totally is negotiable within reason.
I am more interested in him finding a good forever home.

P.s. Please dont flag me...this is not a scam...Im not from freakin africa trying to get your money. Im just a girl in Norfolk trying to find a home for my animal.

Thanks.

Its funny that you responded because you were the person I had in mind when I started the thread. Because I can tell from all of your wonderful pics that you havent got enough on your hands LOL. I really hope she replies, I too sent her a message and havent heard back from her. Well whatever happens I hope its a Happy Ending for all parties involved. I will let you know if I hear anything. I live in Virginia Beach... how far away are you? You are in Northern VA... right? I dont see the ad on Craigs List anymore, she may have removed it.

How come someone with 10 pet birds and has rehomed 19 to great people is considered a Hoarder? I do not work other than up at 4 am- get Hubby- kids off for the day- clean and do my thing (pets- house) till 7 pm

Our pets are vetted regular, feed very well, i make toys can clean thoroughly daily, have had people come visit and cant believe how clean and well cared for our zoo is- and no Im not a bird aholic, I just guess I care and hate to see where we have purchased them out of to ever end up living in those conditions ever again. So, I guess doing your best and caring make for a hoarder and a mean person. For which I close my participation as I dont like people and the way they treat animals, or ignore the reality. Wish everyone on BB the Best- Bye!

Wow Huntress...bet you weren't expecting that! After viewing much of the back and forth kidding on here, I'd venture you caught her at a bad moment. I read your post as just poking fun at someone who typically has a great sense of humor. I guess that's why I try to stick to what my experience has been, and not say too much that could be misconstrued or seen as "passing judgement" of some sort. I hope things are better now...you both have such a wealth of knowledge to share.
