There is an 8 yr old female cockatoo in the Mansfield/Ashland area. Another board member contacted her. The owner is playing the same "who will pay the most" game with her. What's wrong with people???

The man responded back and he was not very nice. He tried to tell me now his bird was not crippled or a screamer and that I was a weirdo. I flagged him. At least the bird looks cared for and happy and not in a horrible situation. What a putz.

Just wait until the fall. All the petting zoos and places like that bring their birds to the auction. Guess they don't want to worry about feeding during the indoor months.

~sigh~

welcome to the wonderfull world of craigslist mentality ,the bird goes to the highest bidder all of this makes me sick . I just think ppl should think before they place an ad like this on craigslist . also how do we know that bird is healthy ? what if someone adopts that bird and it is sick ? I wonder if ppl even think about things like that before they adopt . This person obviously does not have alot of education because of the way they wrote the post . I had trouble following it . anyway I can only hope that the bird gets a good home . It is truly sad what some ppl will do for money . Sad ,truly sad .
