Doesn't *sound* like a scam but you never know now a days. Usually they have broken english. The only way to tell is to email them. I did the same thing with a Hyacinth Macaw (I knew it was a scam but I just wanted to see what the person would say) and for sure, it was a scam.

I dont think it sounds like a scam - and that surprises me! I don't think i've come across an add for a Grey that didn't sound like a scam before.

This lady wants to sell them, not worried about their well being. Says her husband has developed asthma, and wants smaller birds. I hope she does realize that smaller birds all birds have dust and people need to bathe/ mist birds regular as well as clean throughly to maintain health of all. An air purifier as well as a humidifier helps Alot! People want money and all they can get, it's a shame, poor birds!

Yep, she wants money and what she paid, has in them etc. Just hang on there comes honest people that do care and want great homes. We got 3 CAG's this way and many more, patience. You could always put a ad on kijiji, offering a great home, you never know unless you try! Good Luck

2 very loved african greys

I would like to let everyone know a few things about me. I do love my birds but unfortunately my husband has (truthfully) developed sever asthma and has been in the hospital 3 times in the past two months and it is getting worse. I hope it don't make me a bad person to ask money for them. I understand people want to offer their home for free because they don't have money but then I wonder do they have the money it takes to give them what they need food, vets, toys.It can be expensive.I will not give my birds to the first person who offers the money unless I feel they would make great parents to my babies, I do want them to be happy and I don't think they would be upset that someone paid for them, they sure did like it when I bought them.
