I am so bummed to be finding a new home for her...but we are moving. She is a 2 year old pionus parrot, and just the sweetest thing ever. She'll bow her head for you to pet her, and loves baths!

Pionus' are known for being one of the most social and affectionate parrot breeds, and the quietest. She makes really cool noises and says a few words, but hardly ever is loud. She's the rarest of the pionus, the white crested.

We're including her huge cage, her transport cage, two bags of food, all of her toys, and a separate playground perch. To a good home only....these are the best parrots for first time parrot owners!

Everything for $575 (She alone is worth that much) - Call us at (818) 919-1215

I REALLY need to stop looking at birds on Craigslist! I saw this ad too and I've been pining for a Pionus for quite a while now. But I've got two RB2's and a CAG, so the last thing I need is another bird. But the WC Pi's are SO cute!!!!!!!!!! Must ..... exercise ..... willpower .......

Pi's are great, very undemanding. The appreciate attention given but they can easily amuse themselves when your busy. Very easy to live with. go for it!

Ack, don't encourage me!! I do not need another bird ..... I do not need another bird .... I do not need another bird ..... I do not need another bird .....

of course, with the kids back in school in another two weeks, I'll have lots of time to bond with new birdy ...... I do not need another bird ..... wonder how the galahs would like him? The grey hates everyone, so I don't need to wonder about that, but the galahs are rather gregarious. Hmmmmm....

my WC Pi has great birdie manners. She gets long with my Kakariki's and all the other birds hate them. She doesn't mess with the bigger birds so they tolerate her. She's only 6 months so I don't know if that will change, but she has very good social skills. Someone on this board, can't remember who, said 'I think everybody who wants a Pi should get one'. and I second that!

I, too, want a pi. I emailed aves international to see if they have any maxies left from last year but didn't hear back. I guess it's for the best. I probably would have had to sneak it past hubby!

Becca, Gail at Aves is really super busy right now. She hasn't been replying to my e-mails either, but she does have 08 maxi's listed. Depending on how you go into the listing for 08 babies I've seen them at $150 and $250. She lost her office manager and is trying to do everything herself and is up all night handfeeding the babies. I try not to call her too much, but if I want to get in touch with her I do call, not unless it's after 11:00 am pacific time though so she can sleep. good luck, guess I am the bad Pi influence!

Yeah, you Pi people are terrible influences! I just saw the uber-cute video of Bernard the WC Pi retrieving and my last puff of willpower just evaporated. Maybe I'll call these people and see if they still have Stella......
