i just saw an ad on craigs list for an 5 year old african grey called ozzy. he comes with his cage and toys.

there was no picture with the ad. very little info. they want 400 .... firm.

i am very interested so i wrote her an email as follows....

=why are you selling him?

-what kind of behavioral issues does he have?

-when is the last time he has been to an avian vet?

-would you be able to give me a vet reference?

-how many owners has he had?

-does he have issues with men or women?

-was he hand raised or parent raised.

-would i be able to contact the breeder?

-is he tame?

-do you have a picture of him you can send me?

=how big is the cage

-i have a great dane a calico cat a love bird and an amazon.... will there be any conflicts?

sorry for the 20 questions but for 400 bucks they need to be answered!

i live in summerville.

Well, I think you've hit it all. However, if I send an email with 3 questions, I'm lucky to get an answer to one.

i got a reply. the email sounded faquely familar as in i have sent them an email before and decided it was a scam. not sure though.

his reply to me was to give me his phone no so i could ask all the questions i wanted on the phone. still no picture.

problem with the phone thing is i am almost deaf and it is a real struggle to communicate on the phone for me.
